I had the pleasure of renting an apartment above the art gallery in 2007, and I loved popping into the gallery on the way home from work just to sit and soak up the atmosphere and chat with Habib and Khatia. And no matter how much I would look at the paintings, every day I would notice something new. They have an amazing collection of Haitian art, and it was simply not possible to not purchase anything to bring home to Norway. Seventeen years on, these paintings still give me great pleasure to look at, but the best part is the memories they hold. Habib and Khatia, thank you for your friendship!

My wife and I lived in Haiti for many years and frequently visited Habib and Khatia’s art gallery in Petionville. It was always a pleasure to view their large selection of the best Haitian art on display and enjoy visiting with them. Over time, we purchased several fine pieces that now proudly display on our walls in Florida. We also had several pieces framed at the gallery that were very professionally done. I highly recommend Expressions Galerie for the best art, fair prices, and a high level of integrity.

Expressions Art Gallery is a beautiful place to visit located at the edge of Petion-Ville off Rue Meteluss near Mexican Embassy and Caribbean Market. A place where everyone can admire beautiful local art. I was greeted very kindly by lovely Francoise. The Gallery has a large selection of art and custom framing. I will most definitely be returning.

I had only seen their pieces and gallery on their Instagram page @expressionsgaleriedart but meeting Habib and Katia has been an amazing experience, they were kind enough to show me around and to guide through their pieces so I could choose one. I definitely recommend visiting them and getting some beautiful Haitian art from them.

I love Expressions Galerie D’art! Such beautiful pieces – and affordable. The Galerie always has new pieces, and they don’t just offer oils. They also offer some sculptures, books etc. and they frame in-house. The owners are very welcoming and professional. The store is always clean and the coffee is freshly made. I highly recommend this Galerie to all those interested particularly in Haitian Art.

Expressions Gallery is a must-go center for modern Haitian art both for residents and visitors to Haiti. When I was living in Haiti 2003-2008, I loved going to all the galleries there to see what was being displayed, but I ended up always buying at Expressions (both for quality of the art and fairness of the prices) and was able to amass a good collection of Haitian art that I enjoy to this day.
