EDOUARD MICHELET

To compensate a great shyness, he began to draw at the age of 7. Of modest origin, he attended school until the 11th grade. In 1991, he painted under the management of Jonas Profil and Jean-Claude Cadet. His paintings reproduce every day’s life in Haiti in a very realistic way, one could mistake it with a picture. He paints mostly market scene’s and the daily chores of the Haitian merchant. Edouard Michelet is part of the young generation of emerging Haitian artist. His works are part of many important art collection around the world.
